Position Description
Foresight Mental Health is looking for an experienced and Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Glendale, California. We offer flexible work schedules, and our team comprises a community of mental health care experts who provide quality and affordable care in the communities we serve. The therapist will be an essential part of our growing team and will have independence and support to deliver excellent care services to our clients.
Responsibilities
– Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy to clients and use effective communication skills to provide care and support to clients.
– Manage and maintain a reasonable caseload as per the availability of the therapist and work with various insurance companies to increase access to care.
– Utilize an advanced electronic health record (EHR) system and messaging tools within the EHR to communicate with clients and colleagues.
– Maintain high standards of care and professional development by attending ongoing trainings, monthly forums, and monthly 1:1 meetings.
– Participate in some administrative duties such as credentialing, insurance verification, billing and reimbursement, marketing and clinician partnerships, IT systems support, and thorough EHR training.
Qualifications
– Must hold one of the following active, independent California licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
– Have completed state-specific degree and coursework requirements with a related degree.
– Familiarity with the Google Suite platform is a plus.
– Should have not opted-out from Medicare and have access to reliable and stable internet while working remotely.
– Ability to work and multitask efficiently and engage well in interdisciplinary communication.
– Have a minimum availability of 10 hours per week with clients for a part-time position or 30 hours with clients per week for a full-time position.
