As a member of the Offline Marketing and Sales team, you will provide support for a wide range of goods and services, including as Echo, Ring, Amazon Smart Fire TV & Streaming Media Players, Fire Tablets, Kindle eReaders, Blink, eero, and more. We are inspired by our consumers, and they have shaped the way we develop new goods, services, displays, customer experiences, and more. You will represent Amazon in offline retail accounts to both staff and customers, and as a team, we work hard to deliver the greatest experience for our clients.
You will be in charge of the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising as a market manager, owning a territory of physical retail stores. You take on the role of the Amazon expert, mainly relying on your capacity for influence without formal positions of power to drive project completion. While gathering market intelligence, you will carry out and manage retailer communications as well as in-store product transitions. The customer experience will be improved, and sales and advocacy KPIs for your region will be indirectly impacted, as you teach sales associates and support employees on Amazon Devices & Services. For team meetings (conferences, trainings, team-building activities, etc.) and store visits in nearby markets, you can be required to travel overnight.
Market Managers must be local residents who can work 40 hours a week of flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- To spot trends, conduct root cause analyses, and address problems in store operations across your market, apply your business acumen and critical thinking abilities.
- To help inform decisions about products, features, and channel marketing, gather business and market data from customers and store employees.
- Manage a broad territory of retailers’ weekly travel using a range of sales tools and store profiles to influence sales and brand advocacy.
- Establish trusting bonds with important internal and external stakeholders, such as area managers, regional managers, general managers, etc.
- KPIs should be driven in order to boost sales through the offline retail channel.
- Attain business objectives (advocacy, compliance, metrics, trainings, coverage, team, org).
- Fill out daily in-store reports to track visitors, and upload digital images.
- Install, maintain, and repair various Amazon, Ring, Blink, and eero display fixtures and equipment in different national retail stores.
- To achieve extraordinary results in your market, delegate and exert influence. This includes following standard operating processes, finding areas for improvement, putting solutions into place, and giving continual feedback to store managers, regional leaders, and corporate stakeholders.
- Innovate, simplify, and distribute best practices
- Control product changes in-store and retailer communications.
- Make sure the Amazon in-store merchandising is correctly deployed and maintained across stores in your direct team’s area in accordance with the specified standards of execution.

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Three years plus of retail experience
- Be able to stand up and move around for up to 8 hours straight (with or without necessary accommodations)
- Possibility of pushing, pulling, lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds (with or without necessary accommodations)
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- possess a smartphone running an operating system compatible with iOS or Android
- Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance Have access to dependable transportation to get around the workplace during the working day
- must be a resident of the Twin Cities
ADVANTAGED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of relevant job experience, preferably in retail sales of high-tech or consumer electronics products
- Management expertise with a variety of retail accounts/locations
- Having experience and being at ease speaking before huge crowds
- Possess excellent organizing and detail-oriented skills.
- A strong ability to communicate both orally and in writing
