Position Description

BHG Financial is looking for a Marketing Insight Strategist Manager to aid in the company’s growth by utilizing analytical rigor, market research, competitor research, and customer insights to solve business problems. The successful candidate will have a strong business and analysis skill set with experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or SQL. They should be adept at managing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative market research, conducting surveys, and compiling them into insightful business solutions. The candidate will work with internal and external data vendors and demonstrate strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Insight Strategist Manager will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing competitive and market intelligence to support strategic initiatives and market research updates. They will track and report industry trends to stay ahead of the ever-evolving lending environment. Furthermore, they will handle conducting surveys and integrating the data collected into actionable business solutions to enhance or solve problems. They will be expected to provide market and competitive intelligence support to cross-functional analytics teams and conduct competitive analyses on category and cross-category competitors. Additionally, they will collect, organize, and analyze data from market research and industry reports to drive insights into the impacts on markets and customers.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have at least 6 years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, development engineering, or product line management. They should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Marketing, Business, Finance, or Engineering. Experience working with data software is preferred with knowledge of market research methodologies advantageous. Demonstrated ability to read company financial statements, manage multiple workflows, and strong project management skills are expected. Also, experience with Qualtrics, integrating Qualtrics data into Salesforce, Mintel, Gartner, and Competiscan are considered a plus.
