Thorn is seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Coordinator to join their Marketing & Communications team. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and executing content and campaigns. The ideal candidate should have experience in various marketing functions, with a focus on project management, campaign coordination, and website content management.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Manage marketing and communications projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Utilize project management tools like Asana and internal resources to coordinate and build projects.
  • Maintain a project calendar and track timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate on process optimization and document process documentation.

Content and Campaign Coordination:

  • Maintain and update the marketing content calendar, providing visibility for marketing projects and programs.
  • Assist in executing campaign initiatives, including email and landing page creation, and coordination of events.
  • Manage marketing assets, ensuring they are up to date and accessible to the appropriate audiences.
  • Manage content and assets for the Moo.com storefront and business card request approvals.

Website Content Updates:

  • Regularly update and maintain content on Thorn’s websites to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Create blogs and landing pages, adhering to SEO best practices and tracking.
  • Perform monthly website maintenance and track website metrics.

Community Management:

  • Manage donor and public inquiries via email inboxes.

Performance Measurement:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to build dashboards, track initiatives’ performance, and report on OKRs.
  • Regularly update internal dashboards and tracking systems.

Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in nonprofit, agency, or product-driven organizations in marketing, project management, or related fields.
  • Successful project management experience, with agency account management experience as a plus.
  • Experience coordinating campaigns and content development.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and CRMs, with WordPress and Hubspot experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams in an organized and detail-oriented manner.
  • Resourceful critical thinker who excels at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively with different communication styles and personalities.
  • Commitment to prioritizing the well-being of the children served.
