Description A Consolidations Manager is needed for a division of a huge, multi-billion dollar firm that was recently formed. The Consolidation Manager will be in charge of preparing and analyzing consolidated Financial Statements for all firms in the new division during quarterly closings, making sure that all transactions and supporting paperwork are accurate and adhere to IFRS standards.
Responsibilities:
- Financial statements on a monthly basis and distribute them.
- Create and share monthly support schedules and other analytics.
- In order to produce consolidated financial statements that compare actual results to both the plan and the projection, manage the monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Organize the annual budget and forecast consolidation and reporting.
- Make presentations and plan their preparation for Board of Directors and other Executive meetings.
- For the sake of internal and external audit needs, provide quarterly and year-end data.
- Consolidation journal entries should be prepared monthly, and when needed, ad hoc consolidated balance sheet analysis should be prepared.
- Recognize and manage system eliminations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of general accounting experience in a progressive role, ideally in the manufacturing business, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Oracle experience is a plus, as is knowledge of a sizable ERP system, particularly how to use a consolidation tool.
- Working in a multi-currency setting with experience.
- International Financial Reporting Standards knowledge (IFRS).
- One to two days will be spent in the office for this hybrid job; the remainder will be done remotely.
- The maximum salary is 140K plus bonuses.
