Through a strong dedication to the colleague experience, this position is responsible for delivering excellent absence management and related colleague services. Employing the CVS Health myLeave absence platform as well as other HR systems, you will be in charge of enforcing the FMLA, State laws, and Company leave rules from the time a leave request is made until the employee returns to work.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

  • Support a service delivery model that demonstrates empathy and concern for all coworkers and fosters a workplace centered on the coworker experience.
  • In line with federal and state standards, handle requests for leaves of absence under the FMLA, state laws, and company policy.
  • To ensure that duties and cases are done in accordance with federal and state requirements, use the myLeave system for leave of absence.
  • To ascertain if the ADA is relevant, review and examine leave requests that are not covered by the FMLA, as well as State and/or company leave rules. Update and assign the case for a review of reasonable accommodations if the request for a leave of absence necessitates an ADA review.
  • Tier 2 escalations should be investigated, resolved, and the results and updates should be promptly documented and reported.
  • In compliance with the FMLA, applicable state laws, and the company’s leave policy, review, calculate, and submit payment of paid time off for requested leaves.
  • According to the policy, review, calculate, and submit payment for the CVS Health Paid Parental Leave.
  • To secure colleague support during the leave, make outreach calls to coworkers at the beginning of each new leave request and at crucial points throughout the process.
  • Talk to coworkers, managers, and other important stakeholders to get answers to your queries about leave administration.
  • To help with the evaluation of leaves and processing of next actions in accordance with direction received, meet with Colleague Relations and/or Legal Counsel.
  • Serve as a peer mentor to fresh faces on the team or to Case Manager I coworkers.
  • Take part in group projects like focus groups to find and implement process changes.
  • Work cooperatively with the LOA Team members to guarantee compliance, achieving objectives, and prioritizing the needs of the client.
  • All additional case management responsibilities for leaves of absence delegated by the Case Management Lead and/or other important myLeave team members.

Pay Scale

The standard pay scale for this position is as follows: Minimum: 19.50 Maximum: 40.10

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Required credentials

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, State Leaves, Disability, or FMLA.
  • 3+ years of work-related experience providing customer service.
