Responsibilities:

Producing Locations

• Create security and emergency response plans and processes for distant manufacturing facilities, and ensure their implementation and functioning.
• At all places and events, make sure that law enforcement, fire, medical, and other emergency resources are coordinated effectively.
• Conduct briefings; offer Senior Staff, Regional Directors, Country Directors, and Field Security Coordinators suggestions and advise.
• Become a mentor and leader for contract security officers in uniform.

Remote Occasions

• Approves all event security and emergency response plans.
• Analyzes security needs, concerns, and dangers.
• Accountable for the unit(s) directed’s financial outcomes and cost control.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative connections with emergency response organizations like the fire department and law enforcement in each community where ESPN holds events and programs.
• Oversees security service providers and event security vendors.
• Ensures that the proper security tools and systems are in place and working properly.
• Operates in accordance with established corporate strategies.
• Established business policy serves as a guidance for decisions.
• Serves as the intelligence officer for ESPN Security.
• Maintaining contact with the Disney Global Security Threat Analysis Unit

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Possesses extensive understanding of remote/temporary facility and event security challenges, needs, and best practices
• Has practical understanding of how to respond to emergencies using police, fire, medical, and other emergency service providers.
• Has a minimum of five years’ experience managing personnel in the security field.
• Is a seasoned manager with solid leadership abilities.
• Estimate 50% or more if you travel frequently. Available on weekends, nights, and holidays
• Worked at both indoor and outdoor events.

Preferred credentials:

• Possesses working knowledge of the security tools, techniques, policies, and standards used by ESPN.
• Planning events with law enforcement experience
• Dependable connection with regional, state, and federal law enforcement authorities

Necessary education

• Equivalent to a high school diploma

Education preference:

• Undergraduate degree
