Responsibilities:
- Builds effective connections with managers and flight attendants to uphold employee dedication, flexibility, and engagement.
- Responsible for the performance-based management of sizable teams of flight attendants on KPIs including safety, dependability, customer satisfaction, finances, etc. through recognition, coaching, and the delivery of corrective action in writing and verbally, as needed.
- Encourages wellbeing, a safe workplace, and safe work procedures.
- In charge of ensuring and resolving concerns with quality assurance such uniform compliance, overall performance, and client happiness.
- Partners with other divisions, the IFS Employee Involvement Group, base support staff, and internal/external partners to provide information and solutions for ongoing base operating needs and personnel or administrative difficulties.
- Join the leader flying program, which focuses on on-board staff and customer involvement while assisting the flight attendant crew.
- Responds and takes proactive action in response to time-sensitive issues and competing priorities that call for base communication, input, and/or feedback.
- Primarily supports Flight Attendants prior to, during, and after takeoff.
- Serves as a point of contact and provides support for the base’s or division’s assigned initiatives.
- Communicates often from base location with remote Flight Attendant personnel.
- Good examples Delta’s key principles and rules of the road.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- The capacity to manage various priorities when they are changing and moving quickly.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information professionally, discreetly, and diplomatically.
- Must have demonstrated good decision-making abilities in a time- and pressure-sensitive setting.
- Should have previous tutoring and providing constructive criticism experience.
- Good organizational and time management skills are required, in addition to good verbal and writing communication abilities.
- Must be capable of using the common Microsoft Office programs.
- If not already trained as a flight attendant, you must successfully complete your initial training and keep your certifications.
- To maintain a 24/7 global business, one must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel is needed.
- Consistently puts the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
- Embraces varied individuals, ideas, and modes of expression.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
- Must be a US citizen and at least 21 years old with valid work permission.
- Must be doing satisfactorily in current role (if internal transfer).
WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE
- Three years of Delta experience, two years of in-flight service experience, or prior external supervising experience are preferable.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree.
- Working familiarity with the applications used only within Delta.
