Responsibilities:
- Is the third-largest airline hub in the world’s planning and analytical leader.
- Leads the development of improvement ideas and deeper operational understanding.
- Drives root cause analysis to find faults with the performance of the luggage, the on-time performance, the operational readiness, the deployment of resources, etc.
- Partners with the corporate office to carefully examine timetables, projections, resource models, and performance targets.
- To guarantee alignment with the budgets and forecasts, collaborate with finance.
- Oversees the creation and delivery of resource need justifications (5 points), and makes sure the hub has resources. optimally in terms of personnel, management, ground technology, etc.
- Serves as the hub’s comptroller, guaranteeing cost effectiveness and cost controls.
- Creates plans to involve the frontline staff through the use of analytical storytelling.
- Oversees the development of systems and plans for passenger and bag forecasting.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience in data analysis, operational analysis, personnel planning, financial analysis, forecasting, etc. over a five-year period in business, operations, and finances.
Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.
- SQL proficiency, database data extraction
- Degree in engineering, accounting, or a related analytical field
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- Understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and others
- Ability to mentor, inspire, and develop employees.
- Ability to establish ties with both headquarters and operational leadership.
- Both the capacity to spot areas in need of change and a track record of success putting strategic plans into action.
