Responsibilities:

Our client in higher education is searching for a six-month contract Learning and Development Specialist to join their team. This position may grow and become a full-time position in the future. This position will involve working Pacific Standard Time and will be entirely remote. This team is in charge of Workday Finance’s customer service and interactions with all university users, including facilities, employees, and anybody else who utilizes the financial system. This group aids in facilitating training, education, and communication. As a Learning and Development Specialist, your duties will include assisting with the creation of training films, quick reference guides for the website, open lab forums, training slide deck preparation, training materials, and detailed how-to instructions. There are times when a training guide needs to be made from scratch, but for the most part, these trainings have pre-made templates. The majority of this effort will be redesigning and updating the current user manuals and training materials.

Requirements:

  • More than two years of learning and development experience
  • Workday Financial Management experience
  • Proficiency in formulating resilient learning and growth tactics, executing centralized learning material and delivery tactics and frameworks, and overseeing self-assistance and teacher-led instruction
  • At developing courses and programs for learning and development for large, complex companies.
  • Proficiency in conducting in-person or virtual training sessions.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as business administration, communications, or organizational development, or a comparable level of education, training, and experience No prior employment experience in higher education
