OVERVIEW
- The selected applicant will have the rare opportunity to work in a variety of departments, including strategy, sales, product development, marketing, and more, in this client-facing position.
- We’re searching for someone who has a can-do attitude, a history of providing excellent client service, and a passion for business. The position is a crucial member of our team and is in charge of several different responsibilities, including client and licensee management and administrative assistance.
- This position is crucial to the client team’s success in completing all tasks involved in a client’s successful consumer products program delivery. Coordination with licensees, report and presentation creation, product and retail strategies, marketing concepts, desk research and trend analysis, and scheduling internal and external meetings are a few examples of key activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create a network of connections and collaborations with clients and internal departments.
- Keep thorough records of distribution, account and product approvals, etc.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with internal parties to promote ongoing communication
- Maintain brand identity and DNA.
- Maintain accurate records of all licensed contracts, terms, and duties by entering contracts into Brand Comply or other tools and managing contractual compliance.
- Analyze market trends, the competitive environment, and business news according to category
- Assist the client team with ongoing tasks
- Control and monitor common procedures among local teams (Business Recaps, Quarterly Meetings, Trackers)
- Oversee the partnering process
- Keep yearly calendars for significant events and product launches.
- Manage the portfolio of licensees already in place, working with the client team(s) on branding, category expansions, requests for additional distribution channels, renewals, product approvals, etc.
- Monitor variances between the budget and actual performance
- Control notifications and authorizations from customs
- Build sales/marketing materials with the client and internal creative teams to present fresh opportunities.
- Monitor and check that all licensees adhere to the procedures and deadlines for product development clearance.
- Ensure that clients and the licensee are informed of comments and adjustments, and serve as a general liaison.
- Aid in budget planning, monitoring modifications, and actual performance against budget
- Ask licensed partners, local teams, and financial teams for predictions and reporting.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ worth of experience in a client-facing position with a licensing agency, brand holdings firm, financial institution, or brand management.
- Graduate-level qualifications and a solid grasp of corporate commerce
- Interacting with businesses and important decision-makers
- The capacity to carry out tasks with a high level of complexity and detail
- Target-driven, able to operate in a hurried setting, and able to prioritize their workload
- Positivity, a can-do attitude, and a focus on finding solutions
- The capacity to persuade others
- A team member who supports management and teammates in achieving team objectives; ideally 2-3
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in other web-based or cloud-based apps as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- A personable personality with a strong work ethic, effective communication abilities, and a desire to learn.
- It must be upbeat, cooperative, and proactive.

LOCATION
This position will be based in the New York, NY office with remote work options.
COMPENSATION
This position’s base pay ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment. In the end, the pay may differ depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to appropriate experience, time spent in the position, company industry, and geographic region.
