In search of a motivated, self-sufficient person to join the Home Design Team (HDT). Professional interior designers from The HDT collaborate closely with tech and product teams to create state-of-the-art shopping experiences for consumers. Our team uses its design experience to assist tech teams in producing high-quality room renderings and in developing machine learning algorithms that assist in providing clients with style advice. The Catalog Specialist will have the chance to actively influence customer-facing goods and collaborate closely with tech teams to check model results and design rooms.

Responsibilities:

• Speak up for superior interior design on the Home Innovation Team. Help with Home Innovation’s efforts to promote style and design, especially educating internal teams.
• Assist the Product and Technical teams in creating innovative customer experiences. Assist Data Scientists in developing style algorithms
• To make sure that our style definitions and classification procedures are correctly changing over time, we should take note of (internal) consumer input and trends.

A MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Two to five plus years of expertise designing interiors for homes.
• Obsessive attention on the client
• A track record of creating interior design rooms and renders (portfolio) of the highest caliber
• A portfolio is a MUST to be considered for this position.
• The capacity to pick up new technical abilities for interior space design and visualization.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to delve deeply into challenging issues
• Capacity to oversee several tasks at once that call for regular communication, planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field.

DESIDERED ASPECTS

• Two or more years in product marketing or design
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and exerting impact
• Experience collaborating with clients on home design projects
• Keep up on interior design trends, news, social media, and influencers.
• Understanding of project management techniques, including the capacity to recognize and address problems, control risk, and assign resources
• Capacity to work with unclear situations and develop answers using appropriate project management
• Ability to be flexible and organized while producing results in a high-pressure setting
