For the largest eCommerce company with its headquarters in Seattle, Washington, we are now employing 5+ REMOTE interior design specialists. Candidates MUST be able to work in the PST time zone (M-F 8am-5pm PST) because the position will be entirely remote. Contractual job with the possibility of extension or conversion dependent on performance. Pay: $25/hr
Looking for a motivated, self-sufficient person to join the Home Design Team (HDT). Professional interior designers that work together with product and tech teams to create cutting-edge shopping experiences for customers make up the HDT. Our team makes use of its design experience to assist tech teams in producing high-quality room renderings and training machine learning algorithms to assist in providing consumers with style recommendations. The Catalog Specialist will collaborate closely with tech teams to verify model outputs, design studios, and have the chance to significantly influence products that are intended for end users.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Home Innovation Team’s spokesperson for superior interior design. Help with Home Innovation’s recommendations for fashion and design, including outreach to internal teams.
- Create novel customer experiences in collaboration with the product and tech teams. Supporting the creation of style algorithms for Data Scientists
- Learn from (internal) customer input and trends to make sure our systems for classifying styles are suitably evolving over time.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- 2–5 years of professional interior design experience in homes.
- Persistent customer focus
- A portfolio with a track record of producing high-quality interior design rooms and renders
- For consideration for this position, you MUST have a portfolio.
- The capacity to pick up new technical abilities to envision and design interior environments.
- Powerful analytical abilities and the capacity to dig deeply into knotty issues
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Able to manage numerous concurrent projects involving regular communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills.
PRIMARY SKILLS
- 2+ years of design and product marketing
- A history of influencing and leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of interacting with clients on residential design projects
- Actively monitor interior design trends, news, social media, and influencers.
- Ability to deal with confusing challenges and construct solutions using suitable project management techniques Knowledge of project management approach, including the capacity to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and allocate resources
- Ability to be flexible and organized while producing outcomes in a fast-paced setting
