As an Influencer Marketing Strategist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the influencer marketing department by delivering accurate and effective brand and product materials. Your responsibilities will include developing influencer strategies, executing campaigns, securing coverage, and contributing to creative ideation. You will help build and enhance a client’s reputation, credibility, and brand awareness through influencer partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate, manage, and complete influencer programs while aligning activations with client goals and messaging.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients/brands to ensure the highest level of execution and deliverables.
- Structure and edit social partnership contracts, including usage, contract terms, deliverables, exclusivity clauses, timelines, and payment terms.
- Build and maintain influencer relationships and understand various activation verticals and social channels.
- Stay updated on industry and influencer news, trends, and platform changes.
- Execute influencer outreach and manage formal partnerships with both organic and paid influencers.
- Review content and write/edit copy throughout the campaign process.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly (email, Slack, etc.).
- Utilize influencer tools/platforms such as Tagger, GRIN, Aspire, Tribe, Fohr Card, etc.
- Train and manage interns and part-time staff.
- Maintain accurate project management systems (Hourstack and Asana).
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
- Work independently on assigned tasks, offer assistance when possible, and close the loop on assignments.
- Foster positive client relationships contributing to company revenue growth.
- Master reporting and storytelling.
- Take ownership of key accounts and overall strategy.
- Collaborate cross-channel with the account team.
- Handle monthly reporting, strategy sessions, and communication for all channel initiatives.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the Influencer Marketing space (excluding internships).
- Understanding of both paid and organic influencer marketing and its relation to digital marketing.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with various Influencer Content Management Systems.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including knowledge of social platform analytics and marketing ROI.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Knowledge of FTC guidelines and agreement negotiations.
