In order to assist in finding their next Help Desk Analyst, Robert Half has partnered with a local IT company.

Requirements:

  • Attend to tickets and user issues, record incident classification, and identify hardware and software.
  • To assure resolution and shut out incidents in the tracking system, follow up with users.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and identify trends and patterns in events and maintenance.
  • Obtain information from users to comprehend and address issues either in person or remotely.
  • Hardware and software systems require maintenance, analysis, and repair.
  • Encourage and uphold information technology regulations.
  • Upgrades, new programs, and systems should be set up and configured.
  • Control user account details, rights, and permissions, including groups.
  • Create and manage user accounts, software accounts, and domains.
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot wireless access and network connectivity for nearby and distant computers or devices.
  • Replace or upgrade your motherboard, new keyboards, memory, and other parts.
  • Desktop and laptop computers should be formatted, installed, configured, maintained, and troubleshot with and for end users.
  • To fix issues, work with consultants and independent contractors.
  • When required, make the trip to the neighborhood office to help with repairs, new user setups, and other duties.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience supporting clients with IT issues in a meticulous environment
  • Computer literacy (Windows 10, Microsoft 365)
  • Having the maturity and people skills necessary to deal effectively with potentially challenging situations
  • A desire to learn the supporting roles and procedures of information technology
  • IT preference for education
