Responsibilities:

  • Offer on-site assistance with advanced robotics system troubleshooting, regular hardware checks, upgrades, and new product deployments.
  • To optimize the performance of sophisticated robotics systems, collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and site-level reliability, maintenance, and engineering (RME) teams.
    Determine, examine, and fix system and mechanical problems throughout the MSP product line.
  • Create and put into use electro-mechanical fixtures and equipment to support newly launched and deployed goods.
  • Create and put into use proactive monitoring technologies to assess advanced robotics systems’ performance, safety, and dependability.
  • Create and apply diagnostic tools to reduce equipment downtime and troubleshooting
  • Establish an escalation procedure for problems with systems and hardware that affect the MSP product line.
  • Provide training materials and preventative maintenance protocols for sophisticated robotics systems.
  • Conduct on-site training for the RME teams that support Amazon activities on-site.
  • Create and put into place procedures and systems for managing spare parts.
  • Evaluate MSP tools and products for safety, ergonomics, and risk, as well as perform preventative maintenance.
  • Generate reports on a daily and monthly basis regarding the performance, dependability, and safety of the MSP product suite.
  • Supply development and support teams with needs and “voice of the customer” feedback.
  • Anticipated travel of up to 75%
  • A variety of locales throughout the US.

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

  • BS in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Associated Field)
  • More than four years of experience developing and maintaining robotic systems
  • Proficiency in statistical analytic software, data visualization, and program management, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in overseeing methodical and technical problem-solving
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, or equivalent techniques
  • Strong communication abilities and the capacity to explain complicated technical concepts
  • Capacity to oversee several important things at once

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

  • An MS in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or a similar field
  • Expertise and/or practical experience managing large datasets
  • Knowledge of industry trends, design for supportability, and industry standard CAD and FEA design tools
  • Proficiency in advanced programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, MySQL, or others
  • Expertise in developing and executing scalable performance metrics, feedback systems, and standard operating procedures
  • Prior project management experience with new hardware implementations
  • PLC and controls system experience
