Salary range: $150k+ base salary, estimated $170k+ total compensation with bonus, insurance, 401k matching, etc.

Position Description

uShip is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Group Product Manager for our Product Management team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Product Managers and identify high-impact problems to solve with a blend of business acumen, user experience, and technical skills. The Group Product Manager will collaborate with engineering leaders, UX designers, customer experience, sales, and marketing to create and deliver a world-class experience in the shipping industry.

Responsibilities

1. Actively participate in agile product development processes for roadmap implementation
2. Analyze and refine new features to deliver a world-class experience for the shipping industry
3. Manage and mentor a team of talented Product Managers
4. Manage the portfolio lifecycle and solutions with strategic planning and end-user adoption
5. Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure strategic alignment
6. Work closely with UX designers to test next-generation experiences to drive customer satisfaction
7. Collect user feedback from the field and relate policies and complex processes into the product capability to support the portfolio vision and roadmap
8. Manage the product roadmap and priorities for uShip
9. Work with sales and marketing to develop a deep understanding of problems and needs
10. Handle critical issues of high impact and perform postmortems to analyze gaps and identify optimizations to products, policies, and processes

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of direct people management experience in a Product Management organization
2. 5-7 years of experience in Product Management at an e-commerce or internet software company
3. Experience working on an eCommerce or B2B marketplace product strongly preferred
4. Experience building a new product from the ground up, from conception through launch, is required
5. Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
6. Experience using A/B testing to drive incremental product improvements
7. Experience completing market assessments to define KPIs and product tracking is strongly preferred.
8. Ability to think strategically and act tactically
9. Strong customer-centricity and Voice of the Customer programs experience
10. Collaborate closely with designers and usability researchers to drive product features and enhancements

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
