Position Description

The Brand Design team at Cash App is in need of a designer. The talented graphic designers, illustrators, 3D artists, art directors, and motion designers on the Brand Design team work together as well as with marketing leads, channel managers, and writers to produce innovative work that raises awareness for our Brand and our Products.

We attempt to view brand marketing through a non-traditional lens and concentrate on building a brand that is based on creativity and art. Our work spans the newest platforms and includes graphic design, immersive installations, brand campaigns, photography, video, and animation in addition to web and mobile experiences. Our Creative Director, Brand Identity, is responsible for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects with our brand design team and cross-functional teams, from ideation and exploration to implementation.
  • Put brand strategy into effective and strategic creative concepts.
  • Support the creation, upkeep, and evolution of brand design guidelines and systems.
  • Boost brand attractiveness while assisting the broader brand strategy.
  • Create visual treatments, components, and graphic concepts for several channels.
  • For marketing campaigns, create custom typographic treatments.
  • Collaborate with 3D designers, animators, and illustrators to create rich, multidisciplinary work.
  • conceive up and carry out design projects for our social platforms in collaboration with the team.
  • Work with Cash App’s partners to ensure a seamless brand experience.

Qualifications

You need

  • A portfolio of works demonstrating the ability to execute against a variety of design aesthetics, or 5+ years of relevant design experience or freelancing work
  • knowledge of grid systems, color theory, and typography
  • A perspective on brand identity systems Knowledge of how to advance a brand with innovative, new ideas Work experience launching creative deliverables across functional boundaries
  • An advantage is having knowledge of performance-based marketing techniques.
  • It’s advantageous to be familiar with both new and established brand media and channels.
