Responsibilities:

Requirements:
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO SUCCEED
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, industrial engineering, mathematics, or a similar discipline
- At least one year of graduate-level courses toward an MA, MS, or PhD
- Demonstrated ability to solve challenging quantitative problems
- Practical understanding of one or more optimization methods, such as heuristics, LP, MILP, QCP, MIQP, and CP.
- Ability to program in Python, C++, or another language (Python preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Constantly puts one’s own, other people’s, and personal data’s safety and security first.
- Welcomes a variety of voices, viewpoints, and fashions.
- Possesses a GED, a high school diploma, or the equivalent.
- Possesses the legal right to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
ACHIEVING A COMPETITIVE EDGE: PREDICTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Practical experience with commercial optimization solvers (e.g., GLPK, Cplex, and Gurobi).
- Practical understanding of model calibration and adjustment
- Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases
- Basic methods for machine learning, such as reinforcement learning
