Position Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Global Accounting Manager who is capable of handling complex challenges and wants to make a lasting impact on companies by ensuring high-quality work. Responsibilities

– Manage global accounting responsibilities while adhering to policies and accounting principles
– Manage a team of accounting professionals, set objectives, provide training, and manage performance
– Ensure high-quality work, reviewing/approving journal entries and account reconciliations
– Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership and business partners
– Develop and maintain effective controls and processes
– Manage monthly accounting close tasks and improve related processes
– Offer guidance and support on critical initiatives
– Communicate significant transactions to the Finance team
– Act as a contact point for audits
– Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s/Masters degree in accounting
– CPA with five or more years of relevant experience, including public accounting
– Experience in team supervision and performance management
– Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing circumstances
– Excellent skills in process design and improvement
– Familiarity with global multi-currency enterprises
– Strong Business acumen and decision-making abilities
– Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
– Willingness to work outside regular hours and in a different work environments

We are looking for a Global Accounting Manager with a minimum of five years of recent relevant financial experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or an equivalent degree and/or experience. A CPA/MBA is preferred. Candidates must have month-end financial experience, foundational knowledge in performing month-end, general ledger experience, and proficiency in month-end journal entries. Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable. The selected candidate must be an active problem-solver and possess customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers.
