Position Description

Aprio is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Financial Services Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. As part of a nationally recognized CPA and advisory firm, this role involves managing and supervising execution of audit engagements for various financial services entities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, as well as training, mentoring and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise audit engagements for hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, registered investment advisers and broker-dealers.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and staff members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments affecting client business.
• Identify prospects and develop relationships to support business development.
• Mentor and train staff members.

Qualifications

• CPA with 8-10 years of public accounting experience in financial services.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Experience in providing audit and consulting services to hedge funds, private equity and venture funds, registered investment advisers and broker-dealers.
