Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Finance Support

  • Set monthly and annual performance goals, plan for variations, and share important information with top leadership.
  • Develop into an authority on data center construction, covering factors that affect costs, relevant technology, suppliers, clients, and local quirks.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams, including those involved in services procurement, design engineering, and demand planning.

Controllership:

  • Oversee financial operations such as month-end close reporting, budget and forecasting tasks, variance analysis, and key message communication to upper management
  • Utilize diverse data sources to detect incomplete or erroneous information, pinpoint the underlying reasons, escalate discrepancies, implement corrections, and collaborate on their resolution
  • Direct the cost analysis process by creating and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Identify and oversee cost-saving projects.
  • Identify and prioritize process flaws or waste and drive new methods and automation that eliminate detected defects or waste.

Team Leadership:

  • You may participate in community finance events or programs (such as professional development or work/life harmony)
  • You are inquisitive and actively seek out learning opportunities to acquire deeper or different areas of finance expertise and share knowledge both inside and outside of your team)

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

  • Five or more years of expertise in a comparable analytical discipline, such as finance or tax
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or engineering, or a bachelor’s degree plus five or more years of experience in a quantitative role (quality assurance, process re-engineering, engineering, etc.)
  • Expertise in creating and overseeing financial models for problem-solving and company forecasting

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

  • More than six years of experience locating missing or erroneous data, figuring out the underlying problem, and developing and executing an escalation plan
  • More than six years of experience resolving challenging business problems by providing precise and prompt financial models, analyses, and suggestions that have a demonstrable positive effect on the company (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or consumer advantages) experience
  • CPA or MBA
  • Proficiency in SQL/ETL – Work experience with various financial systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) and large-scale data mining and reporting tools (such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, and Cognos)
  • Experience in providing variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and data interpretation
