Position Description

NCR Corporation is looking for an Experienced Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this full-time role, the Senior Accountant will utilize advanced technical accounting skills and work with both internal and outsourced stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial results. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and will be responsible for multiple treasury accounting functions such as benefits, revaluation processes, cash flow hedges, and stock compensation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury accounting functions such as pension and benefits, FX, revaluation processes, and stock compensation.
• Ensure month-end close tasks are completed by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze fluctuations and trends in financial statement data monthly.
• Support internal and external audits and external reporting activities.
• Ensure adequate SOX controls and establish new controls on existing or new processes.
• Verify complex and unusual transactions to maintain compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Contribute to merger and acquisition accounting and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• At least two years of related accounting experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• An aptitude for systems with advanced Excel skills
• Good organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• A corporate accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience in Public Accounting is a plus.
• Licensed CPA or actively pursuing CPA license is desirable.
• Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software as well as Oracle ERP is a plus.
