Position Description

Humana Government Business (HGB) is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the VP, Claims Services. This is a full-time, remote position in which the individual will coordinate a variety of administrative tasks. The selected candidate will be part of a team that supports TRICARE healthcare program for the military.

Responsibilities

-Transcribe, type, format and proofread correspondence, contracts, invoices, meeting minutes, etc. using various software applications
-Manage the schedule of applicable staff and multiple calendars, travel arrangements, and procurements
-Coordinate both internal and external meetings, which may involve travel arrangements, attending various meeting amenities, and scheduling meeting times
-Ensure office equipment and supplies are available
-Distribute incoming mail, maintain supplies, and file important documents
-Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

-Possession of U.S. citizenship, which is required as per the Department of Defense Contract
-At least 2 years of executive administrative assistant experience supporting a Director level or above
-Ability to receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP – Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
-Experience with Microsoft Office products: Very proficient in Outlook (managing multiple calendars, color coordination), Powerpoint experience formatting presentations, Excel experience with basic formulas
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-Able to work 8-5 p.m. in the Eastern time zone

Work at Home Requirements:
-Internet speeds with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps
-Wired cable, wireless, or DSL connection is recommended; satellite, cellular, and microwave connection is only allowed with leadership’s approval.
-Operate from a quiet and dedicated space with no interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
