Position Description
Bobit Business Media is looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join their fast-paced, deadline-driven team. This role is open to candidates across specific states/areas in the United States, who will work remotely but be required to travel to events. The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel event marketing and communication strategies, managing comprehensive event marketing calendars, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop sales tools and brochures.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute multi-channel event marketing and communication strategies.
• Oversee and maintain a comprehensive event marketing calendar for multiple markets.
• Collaborate with editors, event operations, and design teams to build creative campaigns.
• Write, edit, manage, and develop marketing communication materials for events (website content, social media, print, and emails).
• Oversee the email marketing program and reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop sales tools and brochures.
• Develop and maintain event marketing project management processes.
• Travel to events as assigned.
• Ensure effective collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure successful event experiences.
Qualifications
• 3+ years’ experience in recent marketing/communications role with a focus on event marketing.
• Digital marketing experience with email marketing, CMS, social, digital advertising.
• Strong project management skills and experience with MS Office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, manage expectations, and solve problems in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15-20% of the time.
