Responsibilities:
- Participate in various projects with a group of engineering compliance experts and aerospace engineers.
- To boost productivity, performance, and efficiency, identify existing procedures that can be improved and put into place those changes.
Airport Evaluation and Performance on Takeoff and Landing:
- Aid in the analysis of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) for airports globally and for aircraft takeoff and landing procedures where terrain and/or aircraft noise provide operational challenges.
- Track daily runway and airport characteristics changes
Performance During Travel:
- Examine flights that have limited space because of the hot weather, prevailing winds, etc.
- Create and design operational datasets for monitoring payload performance.
- Keep track of the aircraft’s fuel burn efficiency
Balance and Weight:
- Tracking and updating aircraft weight ledgers as modifications and repairs are made
Requirements:
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical or aeronautical/space engineering.
- Required are excellent analytical, technical writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary for MS Office. Skills in SQL, Python, or VBA are advantages.
- A plus is having a pilot’s license.
- The following timetable must be followed by students as they finish their three alternating cycles in Atlanta, Georgia: (First rotation: spring 2024; second rotation: fall 2024; third rotation: summer 2025)

- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
- Possesses legal permission to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
