We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced founding engineer to work on a new product development with us. In addition to having extensive experience in other functional areas including design, product, and data, the ideal applicant will also have in-depth experience in software development. It is strongly preferred if you have experience with 0 to 1 product development and early-stage startups.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and choose the best frameworks, technologies, and tools for your new product development initiatives.
  • Create and implement product architectures that strike a balance between flexibility and speed.
  • Work closely with stakeholders such as product managers, designers, and others to turn ideas into tasks that engineers can actually do.
  • High-quality code must be implemented, tested, and maintained to guarantee the delivery of long-lasting, scalable, and maintainable software.
  • Through both official processes like hiring and performance management and informal ones like technical leadership, mentoring, and counseling, you can contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
  • Keep up with current market trends, new technology, and industry best practices in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
  • When appropriate, lead the integration of smart contract technology into the product stack and contribute to the creation of best practices for smart contracts.
  • Continually enhance the development process by seeking for chances to boost effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Computer science, engineering, or a similar field with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in software development, with a focus on new product development and prototyping.
  • You value ownership, have strong opinions, are autonomous, and have a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Knowledge of at least one contemporary programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, Rust, or C++, must be proven.
  • A track record of building and putting into practice scalable, maintainable software architectures.
  • Flexibility in the face of uncertainty and independence.
  • Knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of various software development methodologies.
  • A desire to stay current on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
  • Knowledge of developing smart contracts and managing teams is advantageous but not necessary.
