Position Description

Babylist is the trusted go-to e-commerce solution for expectant parents and their family and friends. We are seeking an experienced Site Merchandising Specialist to join our growing team. As an e-commerce Site Merchandising Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Site Merchandising to execute an effective strategy to support our growing assortment. Your input will be critical to ensuring we have engaging, informative and helpful product detail pages and ratings. You will be responsible for product information, reviews, search optimization, and product photography aimed at enhancing our user experience.

Responsibilities

– Determine suitable product data schemas and oversee product setup for our users’ needs
– Partner with Category Specialists to ensure the product information is complete and accurate
– Manage cross-functional alignment around the budget, process, and style guide for product photography
– Ensure the exclusives assortment has ongoing setup and maintenance of product reviews and ratings (R&R)
– Actively champion product data functionality with engineering and product teams to enhance our site experience
– Analyze search results and recommend optimization of content and product teams
– Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and product stakeholders on site initiatives

Qualifications

– A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related fields
– Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive meaningful themes from quantitative data
– An in-depth understanding of mobile and web-based consumer behaviour and metrics
– Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and find efficiencies to make existing processes more successful
– Experience working with CMS and PIM systems
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The estimated pay range for this role is $53,568.00 – $78,100.00 annually. We adjust our pay according to the market, so pay may vary based on your location.
