Position Description

Disruptive Advertising is looking for a driven leader with a passion for innovation and leading a team to reach the best social advertising strategies. As our Director of Paid Social, you will be working for an industry leader within performance marketing that focuses on generating real value for clients while working with an amazing team of good people. The Director of Paid Social will determine strategic direction while creating a team of skilled marketers who excel in driving successful results in the specific client offering.

Responsibilities

– Develop Paid Social strategic direction to consistently drive successful results for clients.
– Conduct 1:1’s and quarterly growth goals with your team, aligning their performance with the company’s goals, and their personal goals.
– Communicate with your team in real-time with the latest learnings on what works well in their specialist area.
– Provide your team training and support related to other positions’ elements, including communicating with account managers, clients, and managing your team’s workload.
– Manage a book of business to drive innovation inside existing channels and into new channels.
– Coordinate with other consultants to ensure branding, messaging, and strategy align with marketing as a holistic view.

Qualifications

– 3+ years of leadership experience.
– 5+ years of paid social advertising experience for both ecommerce and lead generation.
– Experience developing strategic directions for teams while understanding clients’ perspective and applying paid social products to meet client needs.
– Up-to-date knowledge of paid social strategies experience on platforms you oversee, holding relevant certifications.
– Hands-on experience in Google Analytics, managing a budget or P&L, and understanding business metrics and how they apply to a business’s marketing, making recommendations on strategy, budgets, etc.
– Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to encourage a team environment.
– A history of adopting the company’s core values, conducting quality employee-focused 1:1’s, and quarterly growth plans.
