Position Description

They are in search of team members who are passionate about cloud and container security and willing to dig deeper to help their customers and users.

Responsibilities

The Director of Content and Community will be responsible for messaging and producing high-quality content, such as blogs, webpages, collateral, and social media posts. This role also requires a theme-based approach to programming and communication that connects the dots between content and events. This position will require an active presence and involvement within the cloud, security communities, and working groups. The Director of Content and Community will create awareness, conduct new member onboarding, and engage with users and technology partners to create an interactive following. This role also encompasses developing performance metrics to help identify further opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating persuasive writing and experience in search engine optimization. The candidate should have significant experience managing and engaging user communities, working with developers or open source projects experience is a plus. This role requires a strong program management, organizational, communications, and presentation skills, as well as a reliable work ethic with excellent follow-through. The candidate should possess the ability to understand technical domains quickly and build trust with engineers. The Director of Content and Community should have a strategic outlook and an excellent ability to communicate with colleagues and external figures. Previous experience working in a marketing or developer relations team is preferred, as well as familiarity with the cloud-native open-source ecosystem.
