Responsibilities:

In order to collaborate closely with developers and product managers on the creation of crucial user-facing internal tools for Internal Audit, we are looking for an experienced UX designer. You will be able to take on challenges that include a great deal of ambiguity and elevate the game by formulating the team’s overarching design strategy and devising tactical interface enhancements that optimize users’ interaction with our products.

Despite our tiny team size, the software we develop has a significant impact. It is critical to the assessment of the software systems that Amazon as a whole develops and uses. Because of this, candidates have a rare chance to really make an impact at Amazon with this role.

Principal duties of the position

▪ Use wireframes, mock-ups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, interactive prototypes, and other design artifacts to scope, prioritize, and deliver effective designs.
▪ Produce designs that work with React-implemented, pre-existing UI frameworks.
▪ Engage in data-driven decision making by conducting user surveys and interviews, overseeing group testing, and using the collected data to create well-informed judgments that have a high chance of success.
▪ Take responsibility for creating groundbreaking deliverables and artifacts that you can show engineers, managers, and users.
▪ Take the lead in presenting the deliverables and encouraging participation and agreement among the participants.
▪ Constantly seek innovation while balancing it with stakeholder expectations and company needs.
Concisely and effectively explain intricate design ideas to colleagues, promoting their professional development in the UX field.
▪ Adopt a “yes, and” mindset when addressing issues, encouraging dialogue and the exchange of UX concepts among stakeholders and peers who are not in UXD.

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

• Have at least five years of design experience; – Have worked as a UX or interface designer for at least three years;
• Have an online portfolio that is accessible
• Experience with Axure, Flash, Flash Catalyst, JavaScript, HTML, and XHTML prototypes

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

• At least two years of experience developing mass-market consumer online and mobile products
• Proficiency in working in a cooperative team and collaborating directly with developers to execute designs
