Through the use of portals and self-service tools throughout the organization, the Reporting Analyst will deliver analytical and operational reporting, business performance measurement, and management dashboards; they will also assist the Program Management Advisor in delivering automated solutions and pertinent insights in collaboration with Business Analytics and IT. provide advice on end-user requirements, contributes to the creation of reporting solutions, and accompanies requests for data and measurements with respect to business priorities. These data requests at the operational support level can comprise regular and special reports as well as providing data for internal groups. With assistance, the candidate works independently on challenging problems.

Responsibilities:

• Establish practices for reporting operational performance that are in line with company aims and provide insight.
• Lead\Participate in general talks with the matrix partners about application and database concepts.
• Provide the company with subject-matter expertise in analytics and reporting.
• Ability to transform data analysis into a configuration that can be used by businesses
• Competent in developing for Tableau Desktop
• A mastery of SQL Server and the creation of sophisticated queries
• A working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and TOAD and the ability to use them for data profiling, cleaning, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of business requirements, ability to build repeatable solutions in an unclear data environment, employing database architecture knowledge, and ability to put creative solutions into practice
• Make ad hoc data pulls
• Helps the business team solve problems by providing real-time assistance or responding to outreach requests

Requirements:

Technical know-how & abilities:

• A certification as a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate (or higher), or the equivalent skills and three years of experience.
• Understanding of ideas related to data modeling (including dimensional modeling), data architecture, and data governance
• Knowledge of SQL Servers, Tableau, desktop, data modeling, advanced Excel, and Alteryx is advantageous but not necessary.

Education, credentials, and professional experience

• College degree or similar job experience.
• Extensive understanding of and practical experience with some analytic and data management programs, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, as well as familiarity with the others
• Expertise in analytical techniques
• Candidates must have 3+ years of analytics experience to be qualified.
• Having knowledge of assisting analysts and researchers in identifying their data and tool needs, as well as working with matrix partners or IT to address those needs
• The capacity to swiftly comprehend crucial Cigna systems and software features as they relate to business operations
• Experienced in updating management on project status
• Operational data experience (with ART) is advantageous but not necessary.
