Responsibilities:
- Oversee and grow a group of analysts for product information.
- Keep an eye on the SKU addition workload and the upkeep of those records across all ERPs.
- Define and implement data strategies, rules, controls, and programs in cooperation with subject matter experts and data stewards to guarantee that enterprise data is correct, full, safe, and dependable.
- Collaborate closely with the business and IT to guarantee that the application’s operations comply with all requirements and that the master data rules are aligned.
- To guarantee the integrity of data sets, develop, design, and execute protocols for data standards and rules on data ownership, coding formats, and data replication.
- Establish the long-term goals and plans for our product data management and metrics.
Constant Enhancement
- Organize and supervise the standardization and deduplication of the company’s numerous product databases.
- Oversee the SKU harmonization effort and offer project management and operational support.
- To improve administration and speed up access, wipe out any outdated, duplicate, or unneeded data from the system.
- Cooperate with managers to make sure that items are accurately reflected.
- Inform implementation management of the status and accomplishments of the project.
- Lead and promote product data knowledge across several ERPs
Requirements:
Instruction
- A four-year college degree in business, inventory, or data management is the minimal level of education needed.
Experience at Work
Necessary
- 2-4 years in engineering, IT, and supply chain
- Two to four years in data science or analysis
- Two to four years with Visio and Microsoft Office Suite
- Four or more years of experience working in an ERP environment, extensive knowledge of the organization and upkeep of product information within an ERP
- 2–4 years of experience as a manager
Preferable
- 3–5 years in engineering, IT, and supply chain
- 3–5 years of governance for master data management
- While not necessary, prior experience with Epicor ERPs is appreciated.
- Must be prepared to travel when necessary, which should only be sometimes.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external clients, comprehending and evaluating their requirements, procedures, and roles in order to document specifications, suggestions, timetables, estimates, and system data in an understandable and succinct manner, adhering to service quality standards, and gauging client satisfaction.
