The Federal Surprise Bill Team is looking for someone to support Federal Surprise Bill claim activities if you are looking for an exciting and demanding position. You will be expected to analyze open negotiations and independent dispute resolution enquiries from providers and billing agencies to determine who is eligible for surprise bills and to provide conclusions in response.

Responsibilities:

You will review provider requests to start the Federal Surprise Bill Open Negotiation process in this job.

• Check email submissions for eligibility checks to see if the claim qualifies as a Federal Surprise Bill claim.
• Send providers and/or billing companies an email that is effective in responding to an open negotiation request.
• Each open negotiation claim request should be entered into a QuickBase application with the necessary outcome information.
• coopete with other teams to finish tasks

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

18.50 minimum; 34.60 maximum

Preferred Requirements

• Possibility of knowledge of Surprise Bill’s legal and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of medical billing
• Understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education: Candidates for this post should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, whichever is higher.
