Position Description:

As a Senior Data & Financial Analyst within our FP&A department, you will play a pivotal role in providing critical insights and data to guide strategic decisions across the organization. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities, including designing operational and financial reports, monitoring KPIs, conducting rolling forecasts, trend analysis, predictive analytics, and building financial models. At BambooHR, FP&A is a trusted advisor with a significant influence on strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate effectively with various teams and business leaders, particularly within CX implementation and expansion sales, to offer in-depth analysis and actionable insights for process improvement and enhanced results.
2. Financial Modeling and Analysis: Create financial models, perform scenario analysis, and utilize data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
3. Data Visualization: Harness the power of Tableau to craft compelling and clear data visualizations and analytics that aid in decision-making.
4. Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare departmental expenditure and monthly forecasts with precision, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Experience: You bring over 5 years of experience in strategic FP&A and data roles, with a track record of collaborating with stakeholders on headcount forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, reporting, and BI/data analytics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You are confident, empathetic, and adept at working directly with leadership teams across functions.
• Tableau Proficiency: You excel in Tableau, effortlessly creating compelling data visualizations and analytics.
• Excel Expertise: You have a strong command of Excel, and you find joy in building and manipulating data within it.
• Business Acumen: Your understanding of general business operations and management enables you to model and enhance processes effectively.
• Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and excel at creating structure amidst ambiguity.
• Strategic Thinking: You possess a strategic mindset, capable of connecting details to the bigger picture.
• Independence: You thrive when working independently, think critically, and take proactive initiative in driving strategic initiatives.
• Educational Background: A degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence/BI, Data Science, or a related field.
