With your skilled analysis and interpretation of complicated data, you will be a key contributor to the strategic decision-making process as a consultant or data analyst. This important post in the larger Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) organization reports to the Director of Business Analytics. You will convert data insights into workable business plans by applying your technical proficiency, business savvy, and organizational knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Use enterprise data to its full potential to learn how our companies are doing, what needs to be improved, and where there is room for expansion.
  • Oversee the tracking and evaluation of many Skillsoft business lines.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to extract the “so what” from the data and assist in crafting the “what do we do next” narratives with an emphasis on business strategy and outcomes.
  • To enable rapid and effective analysis of Skillsoft’s data, collaborate with the Data Engineering and IT teams to develop and implement requirements for datasets and data schemas.
  • To optimize Skillsoft’s return on investment, identify growth prospects, weigh their possible effects, and gauge the amount of work required to carry out each endeavor.
  • Discover in-depth information about learner and customer organization engagement, and work with marketing, customer success, and product to raise our users’ engagement points.
  • Examine retention and the factors that influence it, then create plans to improve retention and upgrades for each of the different customer and GTM groups.
  • Using financial modeling and forecasting, you may lengthen the LTVs and decrease the CACs for learners and clients by understanding the drivers of revenue and order intakes, as well as LTV and CAC.
  • Lead the development of Skillsoft’s analytics methods, tools, and emerging technologies for analytical approaches.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, such as statistics, data science, engineering, finance, or economics
  • Eight years or more of steadily increasing, multi-functional experience in business analytics (including financial modeling, marketing, and product analysis).
  • Preferably two to three years of experience in the human resources sector in a business-to-business or B2C environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as familiarity with creating in-depth analyses of users of digital goods and services
  • Proficiency in cohort analysis, retention modeling, and customer life cycle modeling
  • Superior interpersonal and business acumen: Work across business lines and at different levels in order to influence and bring about change in order to accomplish shared objectives
  • Technical abilities: Python or R is a plus, SQL, PowerBI (or other BI tools),

For this job requirement, the target base compensation range is expected to be $130,400 to $163,000 annuallyized.
