Allow Target Customs Brokers Inc. to file U.S. Customs entries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor U.S. Customs entries using reporting tools, and as necessary, teach Customs Entry Experts to clear shipments quickly and legally.
  2. Provide assistance, instruction, and subject-matter knowledge in the area of brokerage to resolve issues.
  3. Provide recommendations to enhance team efficiency and manage volume allocation between internal and external brokers using a variety of sources to estimate entry volume. As necessary, carry out volume redistribution to outside brokers. 4.Check and approve U.S. Customs duty statements to ensure that they are paid correctly and on time.
  4. Assist in the facilitation of revisions to training materials, SOPs, and other team resources.
  5. Take part in trade education and development via internal training, outside seminars, and collaboration with outside brokers.
  6. Identify process enhancements to guarantee effective GTB filing.
  7. Finish any special assignments that have been allocated, such as representing internal and external brokers in cross-functional collaboration
  8. The business must submit U.S. Customs entries as necessary.

Working and Reporting Relationships

Working with Global Trade Services (GTS) teams, Merchandising, Target Legal Department, External Customs Brokers (Expeditors and Maersk), and Target Vendors is a priority for this job, which reports to the Sr Manager of Global Trade Brokerage.

Requirements:

Minimum Conditions

Required specifications

  • Understanding of US Customs and other governmental organizations
  • US Customs Brokers License Previous Merchandising and/or Supply Chain Experience
