Position Description:

As a Customer Success Advisor at Uptime.com, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and ensuring the success of Uptime’s portfolio of clients. Your goal will be to enable, grow, and increase the adoption of Uptime.com services among existing and potential customers. This role has a sales focus and will involve identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely with them to ensure they receive maximum value from Uptime.com services. Additionally, you will engage with existing and potential customers to sell and grow the Uptime.com platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Drive outreach programs to trial customers who are part of the free trial.
  • Engage potential conversion customers who are using competitor offerings, products, and services.
  • Understand customers’ business goals, priorities, and challenges, and identify ways to help them achieve their goals and success.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base and work with the wider team to close these deals.
  • Ensure client retention and minimize churn, especially among top customers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with top customers to review performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure clients are getting the most out of Uptime’s products and services.
  • Act as a customer advocate, providing feedback to internal teams on customer needs and pain points.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Product teams to improve customer onboarding, training, and enable faster time to value.
  • Own the activation process for Uptime.com customers.
  • Participate in high-priority customer calls to build trust in the brand and product.
  • Own customer engagement by managing and reporting on account health scores and taking action based on the data.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams to communicate product feedback, roadmap planning, and important customer communications.

Role Attributes

  • Be the Face of Uptime.com: Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers, key stakeholders, and executive sponsors to build loyalty to the service.
  • Partner with Uptime.com Product Leaders to engage with and influence the product roadmap by sharing customer insights.
  • Data-Driven Success: Monitor and own customer health metrics, proactively identifying areas to support customers based on data.
