Responsibilities:

  • Encourage a safe workplace by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Use the RSLogix 5000 software package to troubleshoot and alter software programs for material handling control systems, such as PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix, and Compactlogix PLC platform. Including electrical distribution systems, servo drives, frequency drives, motor control systems, and industrial networks like Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and AS-I. Serve as the control system technician teams’ initial point of escalation support. Elevate downtime situations appropriately and contact suppliers or the corporate office for assistance in resuming equipment operating.
  • Use subject-matter knowledge of electronic control systems and material management to optimize building system utilization.
  • Keep an eye on MHE metrics and collaborate with mechanics and controls technicians to fix electrical issues with equipment that impair performance. Conduct evaluations of control systems to preserve and enhance equipment dependability.
  • Collaborate with the leadership of Facility Operations, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers of parts to organize and setup new technological installations. serving as the building’s technical consultant for major projects
  • Share technical concerns and project schedules with the maintenance crew, operations, and building leadership. Describe the effects on production and collaborate closely with engineering and operations to guarantee that the influence on systems is well understood.
  • Create curricula for Control Systems Technician training.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds, stand, and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, with or without appropriate accommodations

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and products for at least a year
  • A minimum of two years of professional or military experience, or an associate’s degree
  • Work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Electrical engineering bachelor’s degree or a similar degree
  • Over five years of experience with motor controls, including DC drives, variable frequency drives, motor starters, and standard electrical parts. more than five years of expertise with PLC (programmable logic controls)
  • Throughout three years using KPIs and SCADA systems
  • Three or more years of expertise maintaining a variety of sorting and conveyor systems Experience in project management and leadership
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ASRS systems
  • One year or more of Allen Bradley-related experience
  • More than a year of robotics system maintenance and troubleshooting
