A Senior Content Designer is needed on a full-time basis by the GoFundMe Product Design team. This position will influence GoFundMe’s content design procedures and result in significant output. This is a fantastic chance to further the goal of GoFundMes by assisting individuals in assisting one another.

The following cities will have candidates considered for this position: San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee content design projects and create everything from complete user flows to tooltips and microcopy.
• Ensure that your work is in line with our design system, user needs, and company goals.
• Work together with engineers, marketers, lawyers, product managers, product designers, and other writers.
• Create standards and criteria for our product experiences by managing our own content design processes.
• Promote the discipline’s influence and actively assist designers, project managers, and other professionals in developing their UX writing abilities.

Requirements:

• Possess over five years of expertise in product content strategy or content design, as well as a portfolio of completed projects that highlight objectives, methods, and results.
• Prioritize your tasks and exercise effort to ensure that you achieve project deadlines.
• Consider product strategy and vision when deciding what kind of product to develop, not just what to write.
• Provide, solicit, and consider thoughtful comments on anything from word choice to design choices to product strategy.
• Make sure stakeholders understand your content recommendations and decisions.
• Possess a design system and JIRA, Lyssna (UsabilityHub), and Figma toolkit experience.
