In order to facilitate scheduling for a designated healthcare specialty, the call center scheduler will collaborate with our centralized scheduling department. The scheduler is in charge of taking incoming calls, setting up patient appointments, and scheduling operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls from patients regarding scheduling in accordance with departmental service level objectives and satisfactorily handle their concerns.
  • Uses practice scheduling tools and protocols to accurately book, reschedule, and/or cancel patient requests for appointments.
  • Gathers and enters all necessary patient data, including insurance information, accurately.
  • Helps patients with their scheduling needs by using listening skills and professional communication etiquette.
  • establishes a secure and reliable environment with patients by using both non-scripted and scripted communication techniques.
  • Reduce tension in circumstances where clients are not satisfied by providing patient support and assistance.
  • Make use of and switch between multiple software platforms.
  • Ensure that the data in the documentation system is current and accurate.

Requirements

Learning:
