Responsibilities:
- Make, explain, and arrange for a free in-home or virtual health evaluation with a provider by use of an automated dialer system that makes an average of fifty outbound calls each hour.
- Adhere to more than twenty approved scripts, make sure participants comprehend and feel at ease using the terminology, and politely and persuasively address rebuttals.
- Show clients, members of the health plan, and team members that you are a professional, upbeat, and highly motivated individual.
- Meet the department’s daily objectives in an office or remote setting, such as 300–400 outbound dials per day, 24 scheduled appointments per day, adherence to shift and attendance policies, quality targets, etc.
- As asked, postpone, cancel, or modify appointments with contracted providers as well as members.
- Using the appropriate reporting systems, keep an eye on performance metrics such as calls, appointments, handling time, and productivity.
- Notify Member Engagement Managers right away of any member complaints or escalations.
- Engage in peer-to-peer coaching as necessary.
- Respect HIPAA and other security and privacy regulations while managing protected health information that is accessed in the course of regular business operations.
Requirements:
- Preferably, you have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Requires at least one year of call center experience OR two years of general work experience.
- It is desirable if you have prior outbound call center or high volume expertise using scripts, auto dialers, and/or working in a metrics-driven environment.
- a desire to work in an outbound contact center that is productive and results-driven.
- convincing and able to refute arguments, all the while treating participants of the health plan with decency.
- Good interpersonal and conversational communication abilities.
- the capacity to follow a set daily routine that includes lunch, breaks, and end times.
- good computer abilities and the capacity to operate several systems simultaneously when taking calls.
- Language proficiency in English
