You will be in charge of handling calls for our healthcare clientele, which consists of hospitals, hospice services, private practices, and more. This includes setting up appointments, providing customer support, screening calls, transferring calls, and much more. Effective, professional, and empathetic communication skills are essential, as is the application of a good customer service mindset in all communication formats.

Availability to work some weekends and holidays required

Responsibilities:

  • Keep call control while delivering outstanding and effective service.
  • When expressing empathy or compassion, speak in a tone that is acceptable.
  • Observe account-specific guidelines, such as phone transfers, appointment scheduling, and scripted language.
  • Make a note of pertinent and accurate information.
  • Raise difficulties as needed
  • Be able to communicate clearly and professionally.

Requirements:

Minimum Conditions:

  • Willing to work occasional split shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or overnights
  • Able to type at 30 wpm with accuracy of 94%
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to operate various systems and monitors
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Capacity to manage a large number of calls
  • A peaceful workspace at home that can be connected to a modem router

Desired Capabilities:

  • A desire to support others during what is frequently a trying time in their lives
  • Two or more years of experience working in the healthcare sector in a customer service capacity
