Call Center Agent – Remote Jobs Houston

Job Type: Collections Representative from home
Location: Texas work from home

Monday through Friday (with one annual rotating weekend shift)
Shift start times vary from 7:30 to 8:30 am, with the exception of one day per week that must be from 11 am to 8 pm EST.
The Debt Department is where this employment is located.
Responsibilities:
- Will deal with a variety of incoming and outgoing calls from patients for different hospital systems who are late on their medical payments.
- The majority of past-due accounts are 120 days or older.
- Call patients to let them know they are behind on their payments and to arrange a strategy to get them paid off.
- Respond to patients who contact to settle debt by phoning back.
- Keep track of every plan and communication within the system.
- This call center routes and places calls to the next available agent using an automated dialer system.
Requirements:
Ability:
- Call center, collection, health care, and customer service
Need to Have:
- Two years of experience working in a call center for the same business in one of their two most recent positions
Bonus Points:
- Working at a call center for healthcare or insurance
- Previous expertise in collections
