As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will collaborate with experts in your field, tackling complex problems and working with massive-scale data. Your responsibilities will include providing analytic leadership to scientists, product managers, and engineers, translating data into actionable insights using tools like SQL, Excel, and others.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your deep expertise in business analysis, metrics, and reporting to provide meaningful insights
• Work closely with scientists, software engineers, data engineers, and business analysts
• Take end-to-end ownership of operational, financial, and technical aspects of insights development
• Contribute to strategic decision-making processes

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of SQL experience
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills
• Experience in building measures, metrics, and reporting solutions
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight
• Ability to program for data extraction, transformation, and cleaning of large datasets
• Experience in translating data into business needs by collaborating with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Familiarity with AWS technologies
• Proficiency in statistical analytics and programming languages like R, Python, or Ruby
• Knowledge of design of experiments and statistical analysis
• Previous experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer in a technology company
• Master’s degree in statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field
