As the manager of business development, you will play a key role in advancing Bizee’s initiatives for expansion and growth. Proactive and hands-on work is required in this role, which involves strategic oversight as well as direct sales, team building, and building relationships with partners and clients.

The ideal applicant will have a solid expertise in managing affiliate programs, creating technology alliances, and working with big commercial accounts. You will be directly responsible to the Chief Revenue Officer and will require the versatility of a leader who can multitask and produce significant results.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the process of strategically identifying, engaging, and developing new relationship prospects, making sure that they are in line with Bizee’s mission and commercial goals.
  • As the main point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners, oversee the whole relationship lifecycle from early exploration and negotiation to contract signing and effective execution.
  • Review relationship performance on a regular basis and use data-driven insights to drive continual improvement in partner interactions and project execution, as well as to optimize outcomes.
  • Create and Market White-Label Products: Find ways to offer Bizee’s services as white-label options for outside businesses, and negotiate and structure agreements that further our objectives for expansion.
  • Play a direct role in sales and partner interactions, using your relationships and personal experience to close deals and improve partner satisfaction.
  • Active Commercial Account Management: Ensure customer satisfaction and spot growth prospects by actively managing and cultivating relationships with large, established commercial accounts.
  • Affiliate Program Leadership: Work closely with the Affiliate Marketing Manager to establish and actively guide the strategic direction of the affiliate program, making sure goals are reached and efficiency is maximized.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Establish a culture of creativity, excellence, and active participation by assembling, managing, and coaching a group of partnership specialists.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence: To guarantee strategic alignment and optimize relationship impact, collaborate with teams from marketing, sales, product, revenue operations, and customer service.
  • Working together with corporate attorneys, ensure that all agreements are in the best interest of the company by navigating legal considerations in partnerships.
  • Technical Mastery
  • Exhibit a thorough technical grasp of Bizee’s product line and the state of technology in our sector to facilitate efficient communication with internal stakeholders and partner technical teams.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to help build collaboration strategies and make sure that technical factors are taken into account right from the start of the decision-making process.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of partnership integrations, working with engineering teams to guarantee a smooth implementation that complies with the standards and systems of partners as well as Bizee.
  • Keep up with new developments in technology and business trends. Evaluate how they might affect current and upcoming collaborations and counsel upper management on risks and opportunities related to technology.
  • Ensure that all team members have the technical know-how and abilities required to support Bizee’s partnership objectives by facilitating knowledge sharing and technical training within the partnerships team and the larger company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a similar discipline.
  • Three years minimum of experience in a related field, such as influencer marketing or partnership development, with a track record of successful client management and direct sales.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiating, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to interact and exert influence on all fronts.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of making conclusions based on evidence.
  • Proven capacity to succeed in both “farming” (maintaining and growing current relationships) and “hunting” (actively searching out new business possibilities) sales contexts, exhibiting adaptability and strategic thinking in gaining and growing client accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or a comparable advanced degree is preferred.
