Responsibilities:

In a pod-like organization, this Senior Analyst role will collaborate with 1-2 other Senior Analysts while working under the supervision of a Manager level BA to support an operational division of the Senior Supplement Insurance business.

• Assembles vendor/client demands and transforms them into product backlog items or process modifications.
• Creates user narrative maps from the process documentation.
• Creating, presenting, and carrying out required modifications in Features/User stories for an agile scrum team.
• Supports members of the development team and conducts business checkouts in collaboration with the product owners.
• Using business expertise, creatively translates data and identifies extra data required to achieve analytical goals.
• Identifies the entire impact of reported issues to assist in prioritizing solutions and guiding remediation. Performs analysis on production issues reported by the operations teams to discover where a root cause arises (internal or vendor systems).
• Helps with audits and correction as necessary.
• Supports the launch and deployment of vendor- and customer-related operations-related products; collaborates with the training team as required to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinating the reporting and resolving of issues with vendors.
• Examines data for trends and transforms data into information that is useful.
• In general, offers analysis of the effects on company and uses problem-solving techniques to address business objectives.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

• At least 43,700
• Up to 100,000

Requirements:

Required credentials

• 1-3 Years of Experience as a Business Analyst
• 1-3 years of expertise with Excel and 1-3 years with Microsoft SQL knowledge of methods for gathering requirements

Preferred Requirements

• Root cause analysis expertise
• Knowledge of Agile principles, SAFe, and prior experience with Scrum UX

Education

Undergraduate degree or comparable professional experience
