As a member of a dynamic BigData Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be tasked with ensuring top-tier availability across several sizable BigData platforms. Finding original, imaginative, and proof-of-concept concepts that will meet our clients’ present and future needs will be your challenge.
We are searching for a driven core Big Data Hadoop Administration Engineer with a track record of developing solutions for Hadoop clusters with thousands of nodes. You will be in charge of engineering cutting-edge and innovative products as one of the Lead Infrastructure Engineering team members on our high-performing BigData Infrastructure team. You will also be asked to make recommendations regarding performance initiatives and develop tools and products to increase and improve the productivity of the infrastructure and applications.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
- It is necessary to have a BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, or related work experience.
- Core Hadoop Administration experience for 5+ years
- 5+ years of expertise with Linux
- Experience with HPE MapRdB administration is preferred.
- It would be ideal to have experience with MySQL query development, REST service development, and VMWARE builds.
- The capacity to pick up new technology quickly and use them to their fullest advantage
- Bash scripting expertise and track record using Linux performance monitoring tools are required.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, cluster monitoring, and cluster configuration
- Willingness to pick up new skills and use technologies to their fullest extent
Salary: from $110,000 and $190,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits
