Fakespot uses artificial intelligence (AI) together with other cutting edge technologies to automatically weed out phony product and vendor ratings so that customers may make well-informed selections based on authentic reviews from actual people. We are seeking a senior-level engineer to work with Mozilla on the Fakespot project.

Responsibilities:

• Building dependable, scalable, and feature-rich apps
• Upkeep and troubleshooting of current applications
• Finding and addressing bugs and bottlenecks
• Preserving and growing APIs

Requirements:

• Three years or more of professional Ruby and Ruby on Rails work experience
• Outstanding aptitude for learning Capability to create well-written, efficient algorithms
• strong familiarity with relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of Sidekiq, RSpec, and other popular RoR libraries
• working familiarity with Docker and Git
• strong familiarity with full stack web development

Extra Credit for
