Position Description
Lincoln Financial Group seeks an experienced B2B Marketing Specialist – Marketing and Digital Programs to help independent financial professionals increase assets under management and proprietary product sales through innovative marketing strategies and tactics.
As a Marketing Specialist – Marketing and Digital Programs, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction regarding all financial professional marketing initiatives designed to support FPs and their staff. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of best-in-class marketing campaigns, identifying new marketing tools and programs, expanding existing programs, and cross-selling campaigns.
This job requires collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as creative services, video production, data & analytics, events, marketing centers of excellence, investment product teams, and distribution channel business partners. As a member of a marketing-agile pod structure, you will have to work with internal stakeholders and marketing partners to deliver results and support various initiatives.
Responsibilities
– Ensuring digital resources are maintained, serviced, and leveraged to raise awareness, engagement, and adoption of Lincoln tools.
– Planning and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns.
– Running coordinated change management initiatives for optimal financial professional experience.
– Championing and enhancing organizational initiatives.
– Consulting, influencing, and analyzing content strategies for target audiences.
– Ensuring that all collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in style, quality tone of voice, and optimizes market awareness of Lincoln’s products and/or services.
– Maintaining knowledge on emerging trends in the financial services industry.
– Building relationships and partnering with various internal stakeholders.
– Launching new strategic initiatives, including best-of-breed technology, processes, and products.
– Setting KPI goals, tracking results at the onset, during and post-campaign, and recommending improvements based on learnings.
Qualifications
– Experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns.
– Knowledge about financial services products, asset management, and investment advisory platforms.
– Understanding of the target market, buyer personas, and the buying process.
– Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrable ability to work collaboratively across internal and external business stakeholders.
– Ability to lead projects and be accountable for outcomes.
– Demonstrable experience in digital marketing or channel marketing.
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong organizational, project, and relationship management skills.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
